It will likely do both to a small extent, but nothing substantial. We've noticed no issues with them holding additional heat across any models.

Congratulations! Victory 4x4 has designed and builds an engine cover that Toyota should have installed on the new 2024 Tacoma. The engine cover that they build is by far one of the best after market parts I have installed recently on my truck.
