    Victory 4x4 Tacoma Front Winch Bumper | Blitz | 3rd Gen (16+)

Our Blitz winch bumper for the 3rd Gen Tacoma is designed to integrate with your factory front bumper fascia for a clean look with maximum recovery options.  This made in the USA bumper features an integrated 20" lightbar mount, 3/4" recovery tabs, plus provisions for many industry standard winches. Available tubework option includes a bull bar for extra front end protection. A fairlead block off plate is included for those that don't yet have, or need, a winch. The bumper is coated in a 2 stage satin textured black powdercoat over durable zinc primer finish. It requires very minimal cutting so you can easily go back to stock if needed. Only requires cutting the lower valance piece which is covered by stock trim.

    • CNC cut and formed from .188" steel or .250" aluminum.
    • Tubework option includes 1.75" x .120" tubework for added grill protection.
    • Compatible with most 8-10k non-integrated solenoid or removable selenoid winches.
    • Built in provisions for a 20" single row light bar (22" max mounting width)
    • Not compatible with Onx6 20" Light Bar.
    • Proudly designed and made in the USA.
    • Will work with the TRD skid plate.
    • Compatibility with Toyota Safety Sense (2018+ models) not guaranteed.
      • Sensor may be located behind the tubework based on grill model.

Listed weights are with no tubing; single hoops and prerunner tube work add roughly 10 lbs in steel, 5lbs in aluminum; full grill and light protection tubing adds 30 lbs in steel, 15lbs in aluminum. (Not all tubing options are available on all bumpers.)

41 Questions asked on Tacoma Front Winch Bumper | Blitz | 3rd Gen (16-23)

Ask us anything

Q Michael Aaron McHugh • 04/05/2020, 11:30:05 PM will the collision/cruise sensor still work if the bumper has the bull bar tubework?
A 04/06/2020, 2:43:39 PM We do not recommend any tubework on our bumpers with the front radar system.
Q Chris • 04/19/2020, 8:05:04 PM Is the blitz bumper available in aluminium for the 3rd gen Tacoma ? Will a warn VR10s fit in this bumper on a 3rd gen tacoma without removing the solenoid pack ?
A 04/20/2020, 3:13:59 PM The 3rd gen Taco Blitz is not yet available in aluminum but it's on our short list. You will need to relocate the solenoid box on the 3rd gens.
Q Blake Brewer • 05/11/2020, 10:56:42 PM Can I use a Hi-Lift jack on this bumper?
A 05/15/2020, 1:52:09 PM Yes
Q Ben Collier • 06/06/2020, 9:53:22 AM Three questions: 1. Brian, did you defect from JCR Off-Road to Victory 4x4 or are they related companies>\? I suspect the latter. 2. Are you planning for the aluminum Gen 3 Tacoma version of the Blitz to be winch capable? 3. I may have missed it in the Gen 3 Tacoma Blitz install video, did you determine the weight of the OEM hardware removed in order to provide a basis to calculate the net weight of the installed Blitz (with tube work). I ask to help set up the preload offset adjustment on the new front coil/struts to accommodate the Blitz / Warn VR 10-S winch combo. BTW, your videos are terrific! Cheers, Ben Collier
A 06/10/2020, 4:43:34 PM 1) Victory 4x4 and JCR are sister companies, Brian is still with both :) 2) This is on the list in aluminum, but we don't have an ETA. 3) Sorry we didn't weigh the factory parts, but even with the steel bumper you shouldn't have to adjust pre-load based on the bumper alone.
Q Stephen Gerhold • 09/06/2020, 10:41:03 AM What is the best thing to use for touch up on the powdercoat? I have a couple of small rock chips on my front bumper.....
A 09/09/2020, 3:00:07 PM Rustoleum textured black works great.
Q Nate Tourangeau • 09/29/2020, 1:59:54 PM Will the smittybuilt x20 comp 10,000 pound winch fit in the bumper
A 10/01/2020, 1:40:01 PM Yes
Q James Parker Cunneen • 10/13/2020, 4:34:19 PM Where can I use a hi-lift hack on this bumper?
A 10/16/2020, 3:25:50 PM Yes, no problems.
Q Tom • 12/24/2020, 10:18:26 AM For my 3rd Gen Tacoma: Am I able to install the Blitz Bumper as well as a front hitch receiver (Ex: CURT Front Mount Trailer Hitches Front Mount Trailer Hitches - 31075)?
A 12/30/2020, 4:56:07 PM No, they will not work together. You may be able to bolt a "Step Bumper Receiver" on the bottom of the bumper though. You'd just have to drill and work around the winch if installed.
Q Jason Brown • 12/24/2020, 5:25:42 PM Hi is there enough room to mount a license plate? I'm required to have a front plate in my state of idaho.
A 12/30/2020, 4:56:07 PM We offer a FAIRLEAD LICENSE PLATE FLIP for this UNI-FPF-PC (https://www.victory4x4.com/product/UNI-FPF-PC.html)
Q JOSEPH • 01/08/2021, 10:47:57 AM WHAT SIZE D RING SHACKLES GO WITH THIS BUMPER? THANKS.
A 01/08/2021, 3:32:27 PM 3/4"
Q Dean • 01/28/2021, 11:46:29 PM Can you send me the size of the lightbar opening. Do you guys have a diagram with dimensions?
A 02/02/2021, 12:30:16 PM The cutout is 21 x 1.5
Q Shaun • 01/29/2021, 10:37:39 AM Is the aluminum bumper any lighter than the steal? Also will this bumper fit the Warn VR EVO 10-S WINCH or the Warn ZEON 10-S WINCH? Please elaborate if solenoid packs need to be relocated.
A 02/02/2021, 12:30:16 PM The aluminum bumper is half the weight. Without modifying the truck, both winches will need remote solenoid packs. If you modify one grill support bracket slightly by cutting it or bending it out of the way either winch can be squeezed in with integrated solenoids.
Q Andres Galeana • 02/16/2021, 1:20:42 AM Will this work with a Rough Country 12000LB pro series electric winch?
A 03/01/2021, 3:13:17 PM Yes, but you may need to relocate the solenoid box.
Q Jefferson • 02/25/2021, 11:19:06 PM Are the d ring mounts in the aluminum version still rated for recovery?
A 03/01/2021, 3:13:17 PM Yes
Q Michael • 03/05/2021, 10:57:30 AM Will this bumper work with the warn 9.0RC winch and the factor 55 short drum competition fair lead? Also, will the tube work interfere with an SR trim level Toyota safety sense?
A 03/05/2021, 1:10:49 PM It will work with the Factor 55. The Warn 9.0RC will fit, you may or may not have to relocate the solenoid. Yes, the tube work could interfere with the TSS. We would recommend going with no tube work for TSS.
Q Andre • 04/06/2021, 2:49:36 AM 1. Are you able to sell the bumper without the logo in the center of the lightbar cutout? 2. Do you plan on making a stage 2 high clearance add on the same way the Slimeline Hybrid Front Bumper does?
A 04/12/2021, 1:13:17 PM 1. No we don't, sorry. 2. No plans for that.
Q Collin • 05/16/2021, 10:13:57 PM Is it possible to install a wench after installing the bumper or will I have to take the whole thing off to get the wench in if I were to install the bumper first?
A 05/21/2021, 9:59:41 AM You would need to pull the bumper to install a winch.
Q Tommy • 05/30/2021, 11:32:37 AM I purchased this bumper for my taco and a Warn Evo 10-s winch, do I need some type of relocation kit to make it work?
A 06/04/2021, 10:30:55 AM You would either need to relocate the sednoid box, or bend/cut the factory bumper/grille support bracket directly above the winch. On our shop Tacoma we bent about .75" of this bracket over and the winch fit fine.
Q Christopher Fields • 08/01/2021, 11:32:04 AM aluminum ,, is it available yet.
A 08/12/2021, 4:01:01 PM Yes, you can select it from the drop down list when you order.
Q Ryan • 09/13/2021, 6:46:28 PM Do you know by how much/if this changes the approach angle of an OEM truck? Also, I know you don't recommend any tubework for trucks with the front radar system in the grill, but, hypothetically, if someone were to get one with a tube, do you suspect it would actually interfere with the sensor that is inches above and away from the bar?
A 09/23/2021, 1:26:44 PM It changes the approach angle very little. With the pro grille we haven't gotten any errors with the tube on the shop truck, but that doesn't mean it's safe in all situations.
Q James • 10/11/2021, 11:17:25 PM Is it a good idea to mount a hiift Jack to the tube work while off-road with Hilift tube mount?
A 10/18/2021, 12:42:50 PM That would work fine.
Q Arthur • 11/02/2021, 6:53:11 PM For the Blitz Bumper, if you don’t want to add a winch, do you still have to relocate the cooler? Also could you what the hole diameter is on the recovery tabs on the front of the bumper? Thanks so much!
A 11/05/2021, 10:29:40 AM It won't be necessary without a winch and may or may not be with a winch depending on the winch model. The hole diameter on the recovery tabs is 1".
Q Melissa • 11/02/2021, 10:23:11 PM Will the 18" Diode Dynamics light bar fit without needing much modification?
A 11/05/2021, 10:25:31 AM The mounts measure about 22" apart. The lightbar will be narrower than the light opening and the hardware will likely be too narrow to reach the mounts.
Q Sean • 12/21/2021, 8:01:35 PM Will the blitz winch bumper fit on a 2021 tacoma trd offroad
A 12/22/2021, 1:13:34 PM Yes, it will.
Q Sean • 12/22/2021, 7:37:44 PM Will a Warn VR EVO 10-S WINCH - 103253 fit the blitz tacoma bumper
A 12/28/2021, 11:09:35 AM Yes, you have to slightly bend or trim a grille support bracket above that winch. Then you won't have to relocate the winch control box.
Q burke • 03/10/2022, 1:46:05 AM Do the Steel and Aluminum versions look any different (angles, smoothness) ? Can you tell in the photos which is which?
A 03/10/2022, 12:43:08 PM It is difficult to tell the difference from the outside. You are able to tell from the backside of the bumper as the steel will be 3/16" vs. 1/4" on the aluminum.
Q Ryan • 03/30/2022, 3:44:22 PM Do you think the lead time of 60-90 days for this bumper will change any time soon? This is my preferred choice, but I'd prefer having a setup before the end of summer. Thanks!
A 04/04/2022, 8:24:55 AM Contact the customer service guys for up to date lead times! 269-459-8447
Q Matt • 04/03/2022, 9:04:03 PM Will the Smittybilt X2O GEN3 10K Winch fit in the bumper without relocating the control box or any other modification?
A 04/06/2022, 1:17:26 PM We haven't tried that winch specifically. Many winches require the solenoids to be relocated, our assumption is that one will also.
Q Ryan • 04/06/2022, 12:53:38 PM Does the lead time change for steel vs aluminum?
A 04/06/2022, 1:20:55 PM Sometimes slightly. Assume a week or so.
Q Matt • 05/22/2022, 12:56:12 PM My state requires a front plate. Can I mount a front plate on this bumper?
A 05/23/2022, 10:19:53 AM You can using our fairlead license plate flip up bracket!
Q Ryan • 07/25/2022, 4:30:51 PM Do you know if the moster winch 9500 lbs by Ironman 4x4 will fit? https://ironman4x4america.com/monster-winch-9500lbs-12v-electric-synthetic-rope/
A 08/15/2022, 4:47:54 PM It will fit fine.
Q Sean Martinez • 08/29/2022, 12:28:44 PM What’s the total weight on the aluminum bumper for the 3rd gen Tacoma with no bar
A 08/30/2022, 10:33:52 AM About 35lbs
Q cody aulbach • 10/25/2022, 10:22:16 PM Will the xpower 10,000lb non intergraded winch fit inside bumper without any problems?
A 10/27/2022, 10:07:38 AM As long as the side mounted solenoid box can be remote mounted, it should fit based on dimensions.
Q Nick Chinn • 12/20/2022, 11:49:59 PM Is the (Harbor Freight) Badlands Apex 12K lbs winch from harbor freight compatible? I know the pack can be relocated but that is the winch im planning on using.
A 01/03/2023, 2:29:09 PM Yes, it's compatible.
Q kc combs • 02/07/2023, 10:46:34 AM What is the total weight of the steel bumper
A 02/14/2023, 4:18:03 PM 63 (lbs)
Q Jason T. • 04/16/2023, 6:36:11 PM When installed, would this bumper in steel and the way it's mounted be sufficiently strong enough to push a disabled vehicle at low speeds?
A 04/17/2023, 7:59:35 PM That is not something we have tried. This bumper doesn't alter the factory crush points in the frame, so that is a concern for using it to push anything.
Q Andrew • 05/09/2023, 7:04:42 PM What winch brand & model fit this Blitz front bumper the best, with the least amount of modification?
A 05/22/2023, 5:12:36 PM Our winch plates are pretty universal in that sense. If you are looking for an option, the Warn Evo 10-S is a great winch.
Q Connor • 07/14/2023, 6:55:12 PM If I'm not planning on adding a winch, can I install this bumper without cutting the OE bumper?
A 11/21/2023, 2:47:44 PM You'll still need to cut the factory bumper to install ours.
Q Jim • 03/23/2024, 1:38:49 AM Do you know if the mounting brackets for the Diode Dynamics Stealth light bar would fit over your bumper mount brackets? The light bar bracket mounts on the 2 outside bolts and extends over the bracket towards the front of the truck to mount to the LED bar in the bottom of the front grille lowest position. It's a 30" light bar so it will not fit on the bumper. I have the light bar and want to keep it, but I really like your bumper too! here is a link to it. https://www.diodedynamics.com/2016-2023-toyota-tacoma-stealth-light-bar-kit.html Thank you!
A 06/05/2024, 4:57:22 PM The mounting brackets for likely interfere with the bumper mounts, however it is not something that we have physically verified.
Q Kevin Danesi • 03/25/2024, 0:40:46 AM I see that the question has been brought up before, but as for the collision sensors on the Pro Grille - I understand its not recommended to have the tube work (but lets be serious, the tubework makes this thing 1000% better) - I am curious if the tubework causes any extra lights to illuminate on my dash... Did your test vehicle sensors even notice the tubework?
A 07/17/2024, 11:58:19 AM Our truck did not have any dash lights come on. However, we are not able to test how the sensor reads the tube work in all situations. There is potential that the sensor could pick up on the tube work while driving which could cause an unsafe situation.
Q Danny Cook • 04/19/2024, 1:27:16 AM Can the grill still be easily removed with the bar installed on the bumper?? Looks tight in the pictures.
A 06/07/2024, 12:13:16 PM Yes, the grill can still be removed with the bumper installed.

2+ years and I still love this bumper
(Oregon) | October 5th, 2023
Purchased the steel Blitz bumper back in fall 2021 for my 2020 TRD Pro. The bull bar does not disrupt the adaptive cruise control sensor or the 360 camera system. After two years of wheeling with this bumper I’ve used the winch a few times to move trees and pull myself over some rocks. No issues with those types of forces, so I’d say it’s a solid design with great welding. Powder coat has held up great!
Note From Victory 4x4: Thanks, Trevor!
Awesome quality

Blitz Bumper works for my Winch
(CO) | April 5th, 2023
Looks awesome. Seems very sturdy. Blitz bumper Installed with SuperWinch SX10 on a 2022 Tacoma TRD Offroad and there is about 1mm to spare between the integrated control box and grill bracket. No modification required.
Blitz front winch bumper.
(The Wisco) | January 28th, 2023
If you're on the fence about buying this bumper, get off - buy the damned thing! Fit and finish is superb! The instruction video makes installation really easy. Not having to cut the hell out of my bumper cover was what sold me. The people at Victory4x4 are great to work with also.
Note From Victory 4x4: Thanks for the review Rich!

Kick A$$ bumper
(Albuquerque) | August 8th, 2021
Man I do love this bumper, I bought it in raw Aluminum and got it textured powder coated after I cleaned it u a bit. Install was straight forward, I bought a 12k winch for it and going to but the 20 light bar for it next. Very solid, welds were clean and neat. I got the bar on top so I can add another led light bar on top. I wish I could submit a picture of it, looks real purdy! Enjoy
This thing is awesome
(Pennsylvania) | July 10th, 2021
I wanted something that kinda kept the truck factoryish… but still be rugged looking. I through the winch and light bar on it with no issues. I just ordered bare metal and used etching primer and truck bed liner on it which I like alittle better then powder coat but that’s my preference. This thing is easy to install and looks awesome.
Quality Control Please

1. Hardware was not as listed on the instructions. Not enough of the correct size fasteners and wrong size fasteners were included. This necessitated a trip to the hardware store which was not a big deal but could have been avoided. 2. Relocation brackets for the power steering cooler interfered with the stock bolt location and spacers were needed to shim them. More time engineering something that should be done correctly in house. 3. Slots for the bumper flanges had to be slightly relieved for correct fit. A carbide burr and a few minutes did the trick but most people don't have access to a full shop. 4. The bottom brackets of the bumper did not index at all to the bolt holes in the bottom of the subframe crossmember. One hole had to be slightly elongated. The left side required drilling a new hole 5. There were no small holes pre drilled on the far left and right sides of the bumper to secure the existing bumper cover to the frame. Once again out the came the drill to fix that. Maybe this is an exception, but this has been my one and only experience with a Victory product which is not encouraging especially with a thousand dollar item. My other wheeling friends would like to get Victory stuff but maybe a bit hesitant now. These problems are not an opinion but a simple fact of QC issues and the resultant install hassles. Once these issues were addressed the bumper fit as it should, looks great and should be a great sturdy product. However all the issues took a lot of additional time and corrective thought. From the instructions and videos this is not how this product was originally designed. Although I was excited to have this product all these problems were a disappointment and as I stated earlier probably would be a show stopper for most at home.
Note From Victory 4x4: We apologize for the install issues Gerard. It sounds like you already have it installed, but if there is any way we can help please don't hesitate to reach out at [email protected]. We have passed your review on to our team here as well.
Great bumper
