I run a 2011 TRD Sport with @3" lift.

Is it easy to remove? Does this skid plate provide a reasonable amount of protection from catalytic converter theft
A

This skid plate fully covers the catalytic converters. Removal would simply be the reverse of the install, which can be found here.

The set of hardware and instructions do not work completely on my 2011 model. The rear cross member this is supposed to bolt to according to the instruction video does not have any pre-threaded holes and the holes in the skid do not line up with the holes on the cross member. Ended up drilling through the frame to install this. Be aware - this is not a simple bolt on for all models!
Other than that, it feels solid and the rest of the alignment worked good. I'd say 2.5 stars because I got so frustrated on the install, but let's round up because they're good about answering emails in a timely manner and I received the parts earlier than advertised.
Please note: Install videos are meant to be used as a guide, and aren't always the most up to date information on product installation and improvements.
