2016 TRD Double Cab - any suggestions on the from four factory holes? during installation of the roof rack, none of the bolts screwed in all the way. now just a giant gap between the head of the bolt and the mounts. there's nothing blocking the holes and the rear and middle bolts tightened all the way. Got any other bolts for those?

I have a ‘14 Tacoma with a camper in the back. It’s only about 4-4.5” air gap between the camper and truck roof. Is this rack short enough to clear with a little wiggle room for rough trails
A

There will not be quite enough room for the rack with that amount of space.

I have a Yakima Skybox 18 and wanting to know if the C clamps will have enough clearance to slide under the crossbar to mount.

The worst the under rack crossbar clearance gets is in the center of the roof and it's about .750", It gets near 2" as you get to the outside edges of the rack. Let us know if we can help with any other measurements.

Just installed my Tacoma double cab roof rack, and was wondering what the rubber plugs in the parts kit is used for?

We use the same hardware kit for multiple racks. They aren't used on this application.

I did a lot of research for a rack on my Tacoma before buying this one. I had a Hooke Road rack and for a cheap one it was ok however it wasn’t cut very well and rubbed on the roof in the front, just nota great rack and it was heavy. I got this one from Victory due to it being all aluminum, price and made in the good ole USA. It shipped out really quick and showed up exceptionally well packed. Instructions were very simple to follow and I had it installed on my roof in about and hour. My overall impression is this is a well thought out extremely good rack. I have already purchased the grab handles and lights as well as the awning brackets and I must say I am very pleased with everything. I will definitely continue to use Victory for my future needs and would recommend them to all my friends. There customer service is outstanding as well. I was even contacted after sales to find out how my purchase went and how my product was. Great company.
Note From Victory 4x4: Thanks, Randy!

I purchased 2 racks for my 22 Tacoma, one for the crew cab and the 2nd for the 6' lear cap I had installed shortly after my truck purchase. I found the racks to be sturdy / well built add ons and the install fairly easy with a second set of hands. The packages arrived undamaged with extra hardware included just in case. The only hiccup was I originally ordered the front fairing without the cutout but later decided to add a light bar which has since been corrected. Also, I did not take advantage of the first responder discount when placing my order which is totally on me.
Overall I very satisfied with my purchases and my dealings with customer service.

This rack is built extremely well. Putting it together and installation was easy. The rack looks great and functions perfect, I would definitely recommend this rack. I love the fact that it uses all three mounting points on the roof instead of just two like most of the other racks that I looked at and considered purchasing. As for the wind noise, yes there is some added wind noise at highway speeds, You are attaching something to the roof of the vehicle there will be some extra wind noise there is no way around that. The extra wind noise with this rack is pretty minimal in my opinion and my wife feels the same. Anyone complaining about the noise doesn't understand aerodynamics. All in all I am extremely happy with the rack, it has given us so much more space to pack gear for our camping and kayaking trips. If you are looking for a solid roof rack for your Tacoma, do not hesitate to buy this one.

I’ll keep this short and sweet.
Super solid roof rack. Easy to install as I did it solo. Just asked my neighbor to help lift it once it was ready to bolt down.
Zero wind noise that I can tell.
My MPG have gone down some, but that’s expected.
I see the price went up from when i purchased. Guessing supply chain issues is why.
Well worth the $ spent.
Also, love the military discount that supports our veterans.

I did extensive research including talking with competitive product owners and watched more YouTube reviews than I can remember before buying a roof rack for my 2020 Tacoma. I didn't see any Victory brand racks on any vehicles around my area but their product seemed like a viable option. I wanted to get a solid rack for both highway and off road. I also wanted a matching cap rack to be able to haul materials and toys longer than the bed on the Toyota. Victory had both quality racks and a matching set so I ordered them both to see if my research was worth all the effort. The roof rack went on easily and quickly with help from a second person to be sure I didn't scratch any paint. The directions were simple and combined with the many helpful hints on YouTube about installing GEN3 Tacoma racks, I had a great looking solid rack installed in under 2 hours. I mounted directly to the OEM rack mounts on the Tacoma roof for a low profile look. I added Loctite to all the screws to be sure they didn't come loose on the road. I chose the solid front fairing; no lights. I was worried about wind noise with the size of the fairing and when I did the test drive it was horrible. I readjusted the fairing down tight to the front roof line and it stopped the noise. I still have some occasional vibration noise from the fairing when I'm at highway speed or in very high winds but it's easily tolerable. It's far better than I had feared for a roof rack fairing. I've driven commercial pickups with multiple types of racks and ladders on the highway and compared to them, this rack is silent. I've driven about 20K miles on my Taco since installation and I'm impressed with the low noise, quality and it also looks great. I've hauled multiple loads on it and have had no issues. It's been rock solid and easy to attached anything I put on it. I'd recommend adding the Roof Rack Tie Down Rings for anchor points to keep loads in place. They work great and allow adjustment for load position that stays put. Overall a great purchase that I would recommend to anyone looking for a solid reasonably priced roof rack!

This rack is awesome. I chose victory over the other brands because getting answers from them and lead times were the best. I also think they have the coolest logo of anyone. The rack is strong and light weight and the finish on it is great. Everything was very well packed and nothing was damaged or scratched when it was shipped. I will be buying more of their products in the future.

I was nervous about install in the beginning, but quickly executed everything once I got going. Just completed install an hour ago. Still working on the roof trim molding to fit in a strip instead of in pieces. That's my only complaint. I love how secure it is. I will write back once I take her on the road. But overall I love it. All my aftermarket parts will be victory.

First and foremost, yes, I also had wind noise. When I got the rack (with the lightbar cutout) I did not have a light bar yet, and the wind noise was so noticeable that I felt like I was the loudest thing on the road, though I doubt other drivers could hear it. However, once I mounted the light bar, the wind noise almost completely subsided and I've gotten used to whatever little noise there is and now I don't hear any difference.
I haven't mounted too much to this rack except an awning, but it's very sturdy and I like it. I've gotten a lot of questions and positive remarks about it. Installation was slow for me, because I was trying to salvage the rubber strip in the channels on the roof. That took some cutting and trimming, and I used some sealant on the bolt holes on the roof to ensure there was no leaking. Overall, looks really good and I love the rack!

The amount of wind noise I got from this rack was insane. Going over 50+ mph it sounds like I'm in a tornado! Overall the build was decent but wish there was some way to get rid of the wind noise. I tried everything and even contacted Victory.
Note From Victory 4x4: Mike, wind noise is not a common thing we hear about this rack. Please contact our customer service team again so we can help you troubleshoot.

Purchased both the roof rack and the sliders. Install went well referred to the online video more than anything. Wish now that I purchased the roof rack with the light cut out but we’ll see what I end up doing for lights. Hope they change all the bolts to a black metal don’t really like the shiny stainless look prefer black on black. Overall great products!
