What would be the max weight that these would be able to hold? I am asking specifically regarding the increased weight of E-bikes.

We've tested it with bikes up to 35 lbs on and off-road. Beyond that you would want to do your own testing, and maybe add some additional side load bracing with straps. The mounts and bolts can certainly handle the up and down sheer force, but the bending load of an e-bike's higher center of gravity could be an issue. Tying the bike's seat post to the rack would help immensely with this.

Does this item come with the fork skewer or does that have to be purchased separately? Also my full suspension trek does not have a quick release front wheel, are there options available to mount without removing the front wheel of the bike?
A

These does not come with bike fork mounts, but are designed for most universal QR front wheel mounts. If you needed a wheel on mount, you may need to find a different solution.

Is there a video or are there plans to make a video to show how to attach this to the rack and how to attach the bike to it (would be nice to see how the rocky mount driveshaft works with a bike

Does this mount work with plus sized tires?
A

Yes, we've used up to 5" without any issues. They don't sit all the way down in the tray however, but a longer straps holds them securely.

No complaints. Looks badass with or without bikes and ready to carry on the bumpiest of trails. They recommended Titan straps to hold the back tire in place and I can attest that is a great choice to compliment the rack. As other reviews note, the construction is solid and should last for years to come. They accidentally sent the wrong hardware but were quick to fix the mistake free or charge. I even took the bikes out after I had used the incorrect hardware to install one of the racks, didn’t matter! The bike held steady. Just wanted to mention the great customer service.

So being that I, like most Tacoma owners, can’t help but build up an already rocking truck, my truck bed is now carrying a Bed Tool Box, Hi Jack, Victory bed rack (solid as all hell), and tent. I used to use. Bed extender, as just the regular tailgate method is too short given the box and hard given the rack. The bike mounts not only are easy to install, they look very cool when my bikes are on, and even with off roading, they don’t sway, and that’s from my decently heavy aluminum MTB bike. I get compliments all the time. The rear tray is long enough to fit my large frame, also extended enough to fit my GF XS bike without adjusting length. Saves room, effective, and lockable with recommended mounts.

The bed rack bike mount is wonderful. The thickness of the steel used is perfect for the abuse and off-roading the rest of my truck gets. I like how I was able to mount the front fork locking device (purchased from others) at a 90 degree angle to the typical position, this allowed for the bicycle handle bars to be parallel with other items on my truck's bed rack.

It’s a great idea, I bought 2. Sturdy mounts, just wish the bolts came with washers

Great setup! I feel like my bike is secure, I was first worried with these setups due to excessive rocking when going offroad, but the conjunction of the rack it self along with rocky mounts axle lock convinced me, freeway/rocks/high winds/theft. looking forward to purchasing another set.
