A 01/15/2021, 6:07:12 PM That is their purpose, yes. You may need to do a mock up of your specific tent to be sure they will work however.

Do these risers attach directly to the tent rails with one bolt each and no other hardware? Are the risers required for the RTT? Thank you

A 07/23/2021, 10:58:16 AM You can install the tent with out without the risers, but the risers help add some room to get to the fasters to tighten everything. You can use 1 or 2 bolts per mount to mount the RTT. You can ask THULE on their recommendations on that.

Q Christian • 10/18/2022, 2:34:33 PM The Smittybilt Gen 2 XL uses a mounting system that clamps on to the bed rack rails. Is it possible to use that tent with these risers?

A 10/18/2022, 2:54:59 PM These probably won't work. You may need a spacer block between our rack crossbars and the RTT extrusion rails. We would recommend bolting through the block with longer bolts also. Basically, it would be a thick version of the mount base plate (as referenced in the smittybuilt install doc.)

A 08/04/2023, 11:53:10 AM We have not tested that, these brackets were designed to work with our bed racks. You should however be able to mount them to any flat surface that you can bolt to.
