Bought this for my wife. She is loving it. Shipped quick and easy installation. Just awesome product sturdy and well built. Will continue to build with victory.

Packaged well. Arrived quickly. Took a bit to assemble everything. Take your time and read the instructions and check fit of parts before tightening down. Install went quick. Very sturdy- I weigh 190 lbs and no issues at all. Love the look. It doesn't impair my camera or rear-view mirror near as much as I had thought it would. I have used it many times since to load and unload the roof rack (RCI full length- no compatibility issues at all). Had a number of people ask about it (normally when getting gas) and I fully recommend.

Finally added the ladder to my mods a year after installing my Victory full rack. I had my ladder sent to my dad’s house in Colorado for when I road-tripped out there and it was packaged very well! The only thing I’d recommend for the ladder specifically would be to assemble the rack before it’s shipped out. There’s a lot of hand gymnastics you have to do to piece together everything. Not to mention, getting the holes to line up because everything was a tight fit. However once our together (which was the longest part of the install) it was smooth sailing. It’s very sturdy and looks incredible on my 4Runner. Also upgraded my struts and the hatch opens and closes with ease. Love Victory products and will continue to use them exclusively!!!!

Ladder is of great quality and looks fantastic on my 4Runnee. I have modded my vehicle only with Victory products. Top notch quality!!!

First off this thing was packaged well. There was no way it was going to be damaged in transit. Installation was a bit fiddly for one person and it all went together well. I have a 2021 4Runner and installing the screws in the bottom plate took a few hand gymnastics to get it done, if you have bit mitts this might be something for someone with smaller hands. Be sure you order heavy duty struts as the hatch will not support on stock ones. We will see how this holds up on the trail and with use! - Thank you Victory Team!

Arrived a little later then expected but it was worth the wait . Apon arrival I noticed that everything was packaged well, box undamaged and all hardware accounted for. Material was great and the ladder looks great with my Overland full bravo rack. I modified the 3m tape and got some clear protected adhesive after reading some of the issues here. So far 3 months and I haven't had a problem.

Solid ladder, easy install. Make sure you get the upgraded struts. Very happy with it!

I would have given this a 4.5 star rating if that was possible for the simple reason that the top clasps and bottom clasps on the hatch did not completely line up on the 2020 4Runner hatch. At the top of the hatch the ladder kept moving forward and indented the main body. Not a bit deal as it was easy to touch up in that closed space but a nuisance nonetheless. In order to keep the top of the ladder from continuing to slide forward (even with the body tape provided) I had to send a bolt through the top plate of the ladder through the top of the hatch. After securing it in that manner, things have been fine and it is rock solid. I really like the flat steps and the solid feel of the ladder. No problems so far after climbing up about 100 times to strap things onto the roof rack. Installation was easy following the directions. Highly recommended and I would certainly buy another.

This ladder was put together extremely well. While I was assembling it and installing it I found that the pieces were very very snug. This did make it a little more difficult when bolting everything together but in the end I would definitely recommend this ladder to anyone who wants a nice beefy upgrade to their 4Runner. I will say the one negative is that the install video and instructions seem to be geared toward 4th generation 4runners so if you’re driving a 5th gen you’ll have to do some common sense alterations to the steps. All the parts were there, no extra pieces and it honestly was not that hard to install.

Over all, I love the look of the ladder however the fit is terrible. I have the top plate as snug as possible but yet it has completely scraped the paint off the inside of my hatch area from opening and closing. I have taken it off 2 times and rebuilt it once and it still rubs heavily. This is on a 10k mile 4Runner so overall I wouldn’t recommend as I have met 2 others that have the same problem.
