Won't work with sunroofs. The upper console is different.

Q

Are you sure this wouldn't work on a 5th gen 4runner w Sunroof? The overhead console looks to be in the exact same spot and the size to me, with the difference being a sunglasses holder instead of the terrain select knobs. Of course the panel would cover the sunroof, but a lot of people would buy this if it does bolt up
A
12/23/2020, 5:37:41 PM
We have not tested at the shop to verify, but the headliner is completely different (and farther from the roof) on the sunroof models.
Q
Jeremy • 02/20/2021, 11:53:09 AM
How low does this sit from the headliner?
A
02/22/2021, 9:36:43 AM
About 1.5"

Yes.
Q
Arturo • 07/30/2021, 6:13:37 PM
Does this fit a 3rd gen double cad 2021 Tacoma?
A
08/12/2021, 4:01:01 PM
No, just 4Runner.
Q
Mona Bachmann • 08/23/2021, 9:25:29 PM
Will this fit the same for a 2019 TRD Off Road Premium? The overhead console where the lights, etc. are located is different, as my model has the 4WD knobs and other stuff, not the sunglasses holder. the installation video shows the technician removing the unit by unscrewing screws located inside the glasses holder. Thanks very much.
A
09/02/2021, 3:39:52 PM
It will fit the off-road premium, yes. You will need to pop that panel off to access the screws.
Q
Katie • 09/05/2021, 12:29:26 PM
This product is showing under the 4thG 4Runner options when searching. Have you made this to fit the '05?
A
09/07/2021, 1:13:09 PM
Not at this time. Currently only 2010+
Q
Robert • 11/08/2021, 3:27:11 PM
I see the answer on here for fitting the 5th gen 4runner with a sunroof is a resounding "no," but is the -distance- between the dome light portion and the upper console portion great enough to extend past the opening for the sunroof on either side? (If I can find a different way to make it work, I will purchase to pursue as this is an item I desperately want!) Thanks!
A
11/15/2021, 10:40:26 AM
The issue is the mounting hardware for the panel will interfere with the sunroof cover. It slides under in the same location. It will either prevent it from opening or damage the sunroof cover.
Q
Royce • 01/02/2022, 11:27:02 AM
Will this fit the 2021 TRD Pro ?
A
01/03/2022, 8:33:26 AM
Yes (if you don't have a sun/moon roof).
Q
Victor Monjaraz • 01/28/2022, 3:20:55 AM
Can I mount a rocker panel to this
A
03/04/2022, 2:40:36 PM
We haven't tried mounting a switch panel to it, but it's certainly possible.

Like the title says, it was a bit of a pain to install, and that was only the rear portion with the done light fiting.
Scuba Josh (FL) | June 10th, 2021
This fits my 2018 TRD Off Road perfectly. Two items you need to know:
1. To get the 4wd panel off from the overhead console, use a small screwdriver or a trim removal tool pop it out, there are two spots closest to the windshield. Then it unplugs and it’s the same screws as in the video.
2. That rear light was a HUGE pain. The small black brackets didn’t have enough angle so I had to bend them further. then/or if you tighten them to much, it will bind and bend the light frame making it impossible to get the light cover back on. There is a balance, and it takes time to find it. After 20 minutes mine is secure and completely flush. Annoyingly the power cable for my light seemed 2 inches shorter then the one in the video, again take your time you’ll get it
I can’t wait to start using it, it looks awesome.
To the Victory team: A bracket or extra reinforcement on the front overhead console would be welcome, sturdy but could be bullet proof. I would still buy this again, and will recommend it to anyone.
T-Sith (Las vegas) | May 23rd, 2021
Everything fit nicely if you take your time measuring and drilling. What I did not like about it is the interior light doesn’t fit like it should. If you take a look at the pictures in the ad, you’ll notices that it isn’t flush and there’s a little gap...that’s how mine is and depending on what type of person you are, this might bug you.
Christian (FL) | January 20th, 2021
This is a great product to expand the storage space that is lacking in the front of the 4Runner. Especially if you have switch pods and other gear occupying cubby holes up front. I have pouches for mine and my wife's cell phone and a pouch for flashlight and hand tools and a back up walkie talkie. Great product install takes patience. An extra pair of hands always helps. Sturdy and quality.
Eric (Asheboro NC) | July 19th, 2020
This is a awesome molle panel idea! Some people might not care for this but I love mine! I have all sorts of light items stored on mine along with 2 backup walkie-talkies.
I have a TRD Pro and not sure if it was just mine but my interior light would not stay snapped into the panel because the factory wiring kept pressure on it.
To fix it, I cut the factory wiring and extended it. It is a flat ribbon style cable eith 4 wire and i used some i had left from a pc build and soldered and heat shrunk the wire to extend it about 4 inches and BAM!! THAT FIXED the issue of the factory wiring keeping pressure on my fome light fixture and preventing it from staying in place.
I highly recommend this product or for that matter any item from Victory!!

Installing without any helping hands turned out to not be so bad but I’d suggest it. No big issues with figment and the instructional video was spot on so that helped greatly. Definitely not recommend but my excited 44lb 5yo grabbed it near the center overhead light and hung from it lol...to my surprise it stayed put and it didn’t flex one bit. Every person whose had a ride in my runner loves this thing and asks questions about it.
Francisco (Minnesota) | February 20th, 2021
Great product overall. Not much to complain other than interior light popping off every 2 seconds. Not much of a believer in having to modify my own light to make it work. Complaing about lack of installation information.
