Q
Brent O'Neill • 03/20/2020, 6:39:29 PM
Are the mounting points flexible enough to mount on other company's Molle panels?
A
03/25/2020, 3:11:33 PM
There are lots of mounting options underneath with the extrusion, so you may be able to get creative, but we don't have experience with other peoples panels.
Q
David • 03/21/2020, 1:34:19 PM
I would like to know the interior dimensions of the shelf and the distance from the roof to the shelf if installed as suggested.
A
03/25/2020, 3:11:33 PM
The basket itself is about 47" x 27". Roughly 14” to the headliner on the outside, it's closer to 15" toward the center of the vehicle.
Q
James L. • 03/28/2020, 3:52:09 AM
What is the distance between molle holes for the screw ?
Trying to figure out if it will fit other molle panels.
A
04/06/2020, 1:46:00 PM
The bottoms of these racks have multiple mounting options because of the extrusion. You will likely have to make your own brackets because of the wide variety of window MOLLEs on the market however.

i have a rear cargo tray on my 4runner. if i put that cargo basket, will i be able to put my dometic cfx50 in there as well? will it be high enough? thank you.
A
04/27/2020, 4:18:02 PM
There is about 22" from the carpeted floor of the 4Runner to the bottom of our basket. The Dometic slide will add about an 1" to that height.

Hi. I have rago window molle panel. Does this cargo basket installable with them? Thank you
A
07/13/2020, 5:03:20 PM
To our knowledge it is only compatible with our MOLLE panel.
Q
Z.Harper • 07/13/2020, 11:04:42 PM
Is there a specific reason why you did not use the molle panel pattern on the floor of the interior cargo basket?
A
07/15/2020, 1:48:15 PM
For cut time, weight, and strength reasons.
Q
Ricardo Mesorana • 07/16/2020, 9:48:54 PM
Are you able to recline the backseat?
A
07/21/2020, 11:32:11 AM
No you cannot with this installed.
Q
Alan • 07/23/2020, 8:43:53 PM
How high up the MOLLE panel can the shelf be mounted? I have a dog crate I have to clear.
A
08/05/2020, 11:01:24 AM
It would be possible to maybe get 26" of clearance under the basket, but you would have to do some customization and drilling on the basket and mounts.

I really wish this had some screw holes in the bottom panel. Is there any way to mount this to Prinsu style cross bars? I have a project where I want to mount this on top of my Retrax cover, but underneath my truck rack and RTT, using the side Retrax slots, but I need a way to secure the basket to the bars.
A
12/09/2020, 5:14:14 PM
It's aluminum so you can drill some mounting holes in it pretty easily.

I own the Rago Molle panels and their top shelf. I feel like it would be awesome to install Victory’s shelf at the bottom of my Rago Molle panels. So I would have a box shape in my rear cargo area. So far, the shelf is too short. I have used spacers in an attempt to pull the Rago Molle panels out and away from the windows. However, the Victory 4x4 shelf is still not wide enough. In addition, the hole diameter does differ with the two Molle panels. Perhaps if I used Victory 4x4 brackets to mount the Rago Molle panels the length problem will be solved. Is there anyway to purchase just the mounting brackets? I may fabricate my own if needed. If Victory 4x4 doesn’t have a solution off hand,, I will come up with one. Once I do, I will post a follow up with pictures and details of my solution. So to answer the big question, “is this shelf compatible with other companies Molle panels?” The answer is NO! Not unless you fabricate your own mounting brackets.
A
12/09/2020, 4:56:08 PM
Sorry, we don't sell our mounting brackets separately at this time.
Q
Michael Murphy • 12/06/2020, 7:16:48 PM
When the shelf is installed, how high does it sit in the rear window. Can I access items comfortably without raising the tailgate?
If not, do you make brackets that will allow the basket to sit lower?
A
12/09/2020, 4:56:08 PM
Yes you can get to your items pretty easily by opening the glass.
Q

Q
Rob White • 12/19/2020, 8:58:37 PM
Would 3 Front Runner Wolf Pack boxes fit side by side on this? (If not, I assume 3 Cub Packs would?) And approximately how tall is the front/back 'lip' (above the bottom of the tray)? Thanks. This is a great storage solution for 4Runners.
A
12/23/2020, 5:37:41 PM
The basket internal dimensions are about 47" x 26" x 4" tall so 3 Wolf Packs should technically fit. Double check our math on that though. The packs are 9" tall and you have about 14-15" to the roof on a 4Runner, so it may be tight in that aspect.
Q
Tyler Yell • 12/24/2020, 10:08:49 PM
Does this also work for a 100 Series Land Cruiser/ LX470, or does it only work for the 4Runner?
If only the 4Runner, will there be one available for the 100 Series/ LX470?
A
12/30/2020, 4:56:07 PM
Yes, it's available for the 100 series. Select that option on the drop down when you order.

Q
Bill • 06/01/2021, 9:19:20 PM
I see you now offer a 4th gen 4Runner option. How much space would I have under the basket and from the inside the basket to the roof? Thanks
A
06/11/2021, 3:00:33 PM
Roughly 18.25" from the headliner to the basket floor as well as 18.25" from the floor to the bottom of the basket.
Q
Uriel Anderson • 06/05/2021, 11:06:07 PM
I would like to install this in the bed of my tacoma. Would it be possible to use one of the provided brackets for mounting, save for maybe some modification on consumer end, or could there be a possible option for Tacoma’s soon? RAGO has one, but it is not aluminum and 63lbs. Compared to this lighter weight and corrosive resistant basket!
A
06/11/2021, 3:00:33 PM
We don't offer any mounting brackets that would work for the Taco bed, but it likely wouldn't be too difficult for you to find some 90 degree brackets that mount to your bed mounting rails.
Q

Have you noticed that the unit rattles/squeaks constantly. Is this typical?
A
07/23/2021, 11:15:25 AM
Check to make sure all the bolts are tight, if they are you can wedge some rubber (door edge trim works great) on the edges that are rubbing. Check the corners and the middle where the two halves touch.

Thoughts on attaching this to a Victory 4x4 roof rack? I hate putting the weight up there, but it is the only place I have for firewood. The size seems good for using about half the width or the roof rack.
A
12/01/2021, 11:01:29 AM
Check out the VRK-BSK-PC. It could be mounted to a roof rack using our VRKRTT mounts.

I have many Victory 4x4 products. From roof rack, to many molle panels. And just added the cargo basket also. Its sturdy, leaves plenty of space above and below. Install took 15 minutes. Sick little product and holds a ton of my gear.
I just ordered the skid plate recently. Keep it up V4x4. Wish i could insert pics.

with victory's GX REAR WINDOW MOLLE PANEL 460 this interior cargo basket it is work?
Savana (Colorado) | August 25th, 2020
I looked at a handful of other cargo shelves and they only left room below the shelf for actual, decent storage (aka a drawer or fridge system) this one takes care of both needs! I strapped my sleeping bags to the top of it and I have drawers and my entire kitchen system under it. Great quality. Only complaint is that one bolt didnt fit perfectly into the trunk so there was a little bit of rattle but after some tweaking and wd40 its quiet.

I went back and forth on a few cargo shelf options before deciding to go with the Victory 4x4 shelf. I'm extremely pleased I decided to go with this one.
Shipping times are accurate and acceptable (especially compared to some other companies).
Fit and finish was very good and I had no issues with anything.
Their install videos are helpful and easy to follow on all their products.
I keep my loaded up full time and it works great.
I'm also using a stretch net to keep everything strapped down and in place.
Definitely recommend this product.

I installed this a couple of weeks ago, but just got to use it when we decided to bug out of urban areas and wait out the virus peak in a more isolated setting. I don’t have a roof rack, yet, and without this rack, there’s no way we could have fit all our essentials, mostly booze, our two cats, and both of us.
The height is perfect. Everything we could want fit underneath and the shelf and it let us load lighter and softer things above without creating an unmanageable pile. It’s also quiet. You’d never know it’s back there. Unloaded visibility is also excellent and it’s never been in the way during mundane day to day activities.
My only wish is that it were about 4 inches shallower so that the rear seats could still recline a bit. I may modify the shelves to accomplish this, it wouldn’t be hard, thanks to the intelligent use of 80/20 rails and hardware.
Chris Hatch (CA) | March 16th, 2020
This is just a review of the install of this shelf. I haven't had a chance to use it yet.
Everything is very nicely powder coated and deburred, giving a quality feel. the 1/8" Aluminum is more than strong enough for the job; I wouldn't mind if it were a little thinner to cut down on weight just a bit.
The instructions recommend sliding the nuts into the T-Rails first, then putting the screws into them through the panels. I prefer to screw the nuts loosely to the panels and then slide the T-Rail over them, but either works.
The threaded holes on the T-Rails where partially filled with powered coat, but nothing that pre-threading the bolts into them before assembling the side couldn't take care of.
The holes on the left and right sides of the basket are very tight. One set had a tolerance stack up between the edge T-Rail and the radius on the side piece was too tight. I got it together, but the side piece ended up slightly deforming.
Otherwise everything went smoothly. Spare hardware was included, which is very welcome.
The basket does prevent the rear seats from reclining. In fact, make sure that the seats are fully upright before you install the rack, otherwise you may not be able to fold the seats back up. Personally, I'd prefer a little less depth on the rack in exchange for a couple more inches of seat recline.
Installed it looks great.
One last thing, Imperial standard hardware is so 1800's.
Grade so far, a solid B+ with a couple of easy fixes that could switch it to a solid A. More after I have a chance to actually use it.
